Coffee With The Fellas

The vision for Coffee With The Fellas Ministry began in 2007 while Mike Traupman was incarcerated in Oklahoma. It began with open Bibles and a few men drinking Keefe coffee.

Upon discharge from prison, Mike Traupman began serving as a volunteer leading 12 steps for a faith based recovery program. In 2018, Mike became a volunteer Chaplain at a medium security prison in Hominy, Oklahoma. Remembering his days of incarceration, he brought Bibles studies to the men and served coffee.

And the vision for Coffee With The Fellas began to come to fruition. Refusing to refer to the men as "offenders", "inmates", or "convicts", he refers to them, respectfully, as the Fellas.

The vision is this.

1. To make disciples

2. Mentorship

3. Sponsorship

4. Re-entry

He believes that discipleship leads to Mentorship. Mentors help to disciple.

A part of the vision is to reach out to the churches in towns where the men may be discharging to who are willing to sponsor the men and help with restoration.

CWTF helps with clothes upon discharge, food, transportation and financial assistance to help with Re-entry program fees and rent.

All men who faithfully attend Coffee With The Fellas discipleship class are eligible for assistance.

This ministry is funded entirely through donations of coffee, which is always appreciated, and financial donations as well.

Coffee With The Fellas Ministry is a non-profit 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
